April is a seasoned Human Resources professional with 13 years of diverse experience in various HR-focused roles for startups, retailers, and global holistic marketing agencies. She joined the Wambi team in 2019 to foster an efficient, satisfied, and engaged team that embodies our values of Compassion, Fearlessness, Imagination, Gratitude, and Joy.  As Senior HR Manager she is focused on culture building, recruitment and onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, team member relations, compensation administration, training and development, and policy implementation & compliance. A self-proclaimed “people person,” April loves to find creative ways to nurture relationships in a remote environment to authentically and intentionally support our shared values and embrace inclusivity. April grew up on a farm in Minnesota and currently lives in Philadelphia with her senior cat, Salem.  She enjoys live music, museums, exploring the world, hunting for vintage clothing, and perfecting some traditional Midwest casserole dishes (it’s a dying art form).
