Creating Change Through Connection: Leadership Lessons from Season 4 with host Rebecca Coren
At Wambi, we believe that the key to infusing empathy and kindness into every care experience lies with recognizing and engaging care providers.
Carepostcard combines real-time gratitude from patients in hospitals and healthcare organizations with appreciation from the public to create a centralized hub to uplift, inspire, and further the Compassionate Care Movement. Whether it was a passing moment or a major event, share your voice with a Carepostcard.
Wambi launched its affiliate organization, Carepostcard and the Compassionate Care Movement™ in July 2017 as a public way to promote compassion in healthcare. Through creating a positive giving circle where patients, families, and providers can share and receive gratitude, we will foster a more grateful community and better patient experiences for all.
Now, Carepostcard has evolved into something much bigger. Because those working the frontlines in healthcare need to feel kindness, gratitude, and support now more than ever. Because moments move us, we encourage everyone to share a story, a moment, or a simple declaration of gratitude for the healthcare workers who have impacted them in ways big and small.
A simple act of recognition can transform a workplace culture. Be part of our Compassionate Care Movement™ today!
It was such a pleasure to meet someone with such a caring heart.
Ben is an extraordinary, one of a kind nurse! I met him on a Sunday morning over the phone while checking to see how my father was doing. I asked if I could go over my father's med list and he kindly, without hesitations, said, "Sure, come on over." When I arrived at my father's room I was amazed at Ben's nurse ethics. He was gentle, kind, patient, knowledgeable, approachable, very positive attitude, calm, and had a smile on his face. Immediately he gave me his trust and excellent care. I have never ever felt that way by a nurse. He's an exemplary nurse. We went over my dad's med list and he answered all my questions. He never made me feel I was taking his time away from his nurse responsibilities.
She's super sweet and has a great bedside manner! Very thankful for her precise and close monitoring of my little one! Giving her the best of care!
Thank you for taking such great care of Jax, myself, and my husband. You made this experience comforting and getting a chance to laugh with you made it so we didn't have time to be sad.
Thanks,
The Wong Family
Jessica was my first nurse once I was admitted. I appreciated her kindness and empathy. She looked past the disease and saw the patient, she saw me as a person and I was able to feel that. Thank you Jessica.
Thank you Lydia for making me as comfortable as possible and making Greyson's welcome into the world easier on both Justin and I. We appreciate everything you did to make being a parent easier on us here in the hospital. For that we are forever grateful.
Thank you for treating my husband with dignity and respect. Your caring nature makes you a phenomenal nurse. Please never change. You have a gift.
Thank you so very much for helping figure out my true issues (hip, not knee, wow!) and setting me on a course with more strength, less pain, and the tools to take me across the finish line of my running goal! I'm so happy to know our PT services are so excellent. I unreservedly recommend them to myself, my family, or any EOGH patients in need of PT!
I am forever thankful for your encouragement that got me through the tough times and helped me bring my son into this world!
Thank always,
Grateful Mommy!
Thank you so much, Jackie!! I really appreciate the time you've taken with me and positive outlook you have provided during my stay.
Karen was very understanding of my concerns and condition. She took the time to listen to me and treat my situation with kindness and empathy. Thank you for going above and beyond to try to make my stay a little better.
Thank you for being so patient with me throughout my 10 day stay at the hospital. I truly appreciate you so very much and couldn't have gotten through this without you. Thank you for making me laugh when I was crying and being there when I needed you most. I appreciate you.
My best,
Tiffany
